Return of the Children

Whispers in the distance
Lives as yet to be
Announcing their arrival
To those like you and me

Children of a yester land
Long lost beneath the waves
Reminders of a golden age
Before man lived in caves

And so it is they come again
To free the world of pain and sin
A cycle on its fateful track
Has seen it time to bring them back

So watch them sleeping in their cribs
And watch them eating wearing bibs
You'll see a twinkle in their eyes
That came from far above the skies
